InCollaboration is a small, proactive social change agency and consultancy
We are sense-makers, relationship-builders, strategists, network-weavers and catalysts
We pay deep attention to contexts and complexities as we nuture collective wisdom
and connect and join forces with organisations, sectors and movements for the common good
We work to strengthen community agency, small organisations and organisational ecosystems
and to further systems change for local resilience, economic fairness and ecological regeneration
We are in a time of change, uncertainty and collapsing systems

Let's move beyond winner-takes-all, come together, shift towards a culture of cooperation
and look after each other and our Earth.

InCollaboration identifies and make sense of issues facing our world,
We are experiencing increasing concentration of wealth and power, juxtaposed with increasing poverty and cost of living crises, multiple unprecedented ecological crises, community tensions and declining trust in our institutions.

We spark and nurture the joining of forces locally and globally,
to build on strengths, strengthen communities and respond meaningfully to the challenges and crises - including climate change, biodiversity loss, inequality, homelessness, food insecurity, mental health, community stress and marginalisation.

We encourage recognising complexity and the contexts of problems,
working with and changing those contexts (as levers of change) to co-create more supportive environments. We discourage simplistic solutions. We recognise interdependence and interrelatedness. We recognise our current economic system and context is working for the few and not the many. The for-profit motive is dominating and not-for-profit motives are undervalued.

We enable and support the building of trusting relationships,
as such relations form the foundation for transformational change. Through building stronger relationships we break down divisions and tap into the power and passion of people, communities and networks.

We work to strengthen community and organisational ecosystems and balance cooperation and competition.
We highlight the strengths of and work to influence greater sharing of power and decision-making within and between community, commons and cooperative, not-for-profit, business and government sectors.

While we promote interconnected responses and collaboration, we acknowledge collaboration is not easy,
co-option can take place and collaboration is not always the best way forward.
We believe that "small is beautiful" and challenge the notion that bigger is better.
We value small, independent and local organisations, including voluntary groups, small not-for-profits, co-operatives, social enterprises and small business. At the same time we also work with governments and large organisations. We enable connected-up solutions.

We are part of the global Commons, Community Wealth Building and Regenerative movements,
with InCollaboration having been the lead catalysing organisation for Sydney Commons Lab. These movements promote community agency and aliveness; community-led initiatives for shared local sufficiency, wealth and resilience; community stewardship and ownership; and regenerative ways of living and working that care for self, each other and our Earth.
